My July of 2014 sucked royal balls. Like dirty old fat king who doesn't bathe and has testicular cancer balls. And judging by the recent string of other posts, I was not alone. BUT! I remembered the motocompo today. And it was impossible to not smile. So I shall post Motocompos today to ring in August properly.
There is no need to be sad, for there are Motocompos in this world.

It is impossible to not be happy on a motocompo. I've never driven one but I want to snag one if I ever import a car from japan.

We need to have cars with turbo diesels, with their own electric motocompos that you can ride around town. That would be the ultimate in utilitarian transport.

If I was into boating, I would definitely buy a motocompo or something similar. Either for cruising around a town or in the event of an emergency and i needed something small but faster than walking. Definitely looks like a blast.

you wanks need to get minibikes.

Grew up with one, and it was okay. But there's just something about the compactness of the motocompo.

I bet it cant beat the rumble of a briggs and stratton flathead.

It can. Again, I grew up with the classic tube frame mini bike with the briggs and stratton 2.5hp or whatever it was. A ton of fun, but not exactly something I can carry on my back. Or fold up and tuck away in my fiesta or a small boat.

it seems you are talking about mini bikes like people talk about camrys who explain why they buy camrys.

.......U wot m8?
I've owned mini bikes. Not my thing right now. Foldable 80s scooter to whip out whenever? Love that shit right now. How is any of that camry related?

mini bikes are soulful beasts with character. those hondas you only seem to mention the practicality and ability to be small.

But that is the charm and fun of those scooters. There is zero reason for one of those things to need that practicality. And yet it is fully street legal and just so unlike anything else on the road. I guarantee if I rolled up at a stoplight on one, people might laugh, they might tease, they might point, but they definitely won't forget it. Plus they're a blast to ride the same way that minibikes are, they just look completely different. Meanwhile everyone and their dad had like two or three minibikes in garages growing up. Most of which barely worked, if at all. I lost 100% interest in mine when I got a 70's Indian branded trail bike and actually learned how to shift gears and tackle the dirt paths like a boss. I have good memories of my green beast, but I don't want another one. Not until I have kids and I need something to whip the sleds around during winter. I would love another trail bike though.

I posted the perfect (LHD!) motocompo pod last Tuesday . LHD, low mileage, one owner, no rust. Sadly the Ebay auction has ended now. It sold for €760 ($1017)
